I’m Ajay, a 29-year-old Senior VFX Lookdev and Lighting Artist based in Mumbai, with a passion for VFX and filmmaking.
 

My fascination with CG and story telling started around the age of 16, while watching anime, cg movies and playing AAA video games.
 

I spent my school and college years teaching myself through YouTube tutorials, starting with Blender before landing my first VFX job at 21.
 

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to learn a wide range of software and techniques, while working with amazing artists on creatures, hero assets, and environments.

Today, I specialize in Look Development and Lighting, primarily using Houdini, Arnold, and Nuke.
 

Beyond VFX, my goal is to become a filmmaker. Some of my favourite films and stories are The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Avengers: Endgame, Attack on Titan.
 

I’m still learning, still experimenting, and taking every opportunity I can to get closer to becoming the filmmaker I want to be.
